• From 1983 to 1994, Operation and maintenance Engineer ( Digital PCM Transmission Systems, International Digital Exchange, Local Digital Exchanges), Sudan Telecommunication Public Corporation.

• From 1996 - 2000, Part time Technical Consultant , Beta Information Technology Co.

• From 1999 and up to this date with the University of Khartoum as a staff member.
• From 1999 and up to this date , the coordinator of the Postgraduate Programs of the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. University of Khartoum.
• Supervisor of B.Sc. and  M. Sc researches and co-supervisor of Ph. D. researches in telecommunication and computer engineering.
